Why We Created Aloha for Awareness

At Freddy’s Hugs 4 Hope Foundation, our mission is simple: to bring hope, compassion, education, and support to individuals and families impacted by epilepsy.

Aloha for Awareness is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a community coming together to make a real difference. Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, raffle donation received, and dollar raised helps us provide meaningful support to those facing the challenges of epilepsy.

Living with epilepsy can create unexpected financial burdens. From transportation to medical appointments and specialized treatments to other essential medical-related needs, many families find themselves struggling with expenses that insurance doesn’t always cover. Our goal is to help ease some of those burdens so families can focus on what matters most—the health and well-being of their loved ones.

Funds raised through Aloha for Awareness will help support:

• Transportation assistance for medical appointments and treatments
• Medical-related expenses and essential support needs
• Epilepsy education and awareness programs in our community
• Future programs and resources that provide hope and encouragement to individuals and families affected by epilepsy

The word “Aloha” represents love, kindness, compassion, and community—the very values our foundation strives to share every day.
